Anna Leigh Crumpton was born on August 21 at 9:54 am. She weighed in at 6 lbs 12 oz. She weighed the same as her big sister, Ella Jayne. We're going to have lots of fun with all of these girls!

Emerson Ryan Martin was born on August 18th at 5:10 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz. Can't wait to see this little guy grow up. Congrats Ryan & Kristi!

I snapped some pictures the other night after Rachel appeared from her play room. She was playing dress up. I haven't quite figured out how she go the scarf wrapped around her neck and her arm, then tied in a bow. I dont know how she managed to get the marker all over her elbow.

Kristi's Baby Shower

One of my best friends, Kristi, is expecting Emerson Ryan in a couple of weeks. We had her baby shower at the church and she received tons of much needed items. We can't wait for Emerson to arrive! Kristi and Ryan, you two will be wonderful parents! We Love You!

Meet Hadleigh Elizabeth

Our friends, Scott & Shea, welcomed their third girl into the world. Hadleigh Elizabeth was born on July 14th. She's a beautiful, sweet baby. Congratulations to the Myrick family!

Our good friends, Jason & Elizabeth Smock, came home to visit from South Korea for 10 days. They have been in Korea for a year and a half now so this was our first time to meet baby Nathan. He was such a cutie! It was so neat to hear of their stories and experiences so far. It was great to be able to spend several days with them while they were visiting. They'll be able to come back in a year and a half.

Somehow Jason managed to skip out on the picture taking.

Happy Fourth!

This year for the fourth we cooked out at Mama's house with the family. We swam, ate, made homemade butterfinger ice cream. We then went downtown with our church to watch the fireworks. We had a great time.

Rachel's 4th Birthday

This year Rachel wanted a pool party at Gran's house. It was a little hot but we had a great time. I can't believe she is 4 already!

Botanical Gardens

Mama thought she had a good idea to take all 6 grandkids to botanical gardens with just Joanie and Mary Beth's help on a hot June day to take pictures. Needless to say, she said she was never doing that again unless all mothers were present. Ha, we thought she was crazy to even suggest it anyway. She did get a few good pictures in spite of it all.

Bed and Breakfast

My great uncle reserved a few rooms at a bed and breakfast in Red Boiling Springs, TN. We had never been to one so Rachel and I decided to go with my parents over the weekend. Curt had school so he couldn't go. Every room was decorated with a different theme. Rachel picked the safari room so we stayed there. I tried to persuade her to the red hat room because the bed was bigger but she wouldn't sleep in there because of the red hat lady pictured above. It was a neat thing to experience. Rachel loved every minute of it. The food was great!
